A key Italian player in global Agriculture, EMAK turns to Bramidan for their most recent waste-handling solution.
Costly waste collections
Previously, EMAK employees spent valuable time and effort carrying cardboard waste to bulk bins outside, incurring additional costs for constant pickup, collection, and transport.
However, with the new B50 XL SD and B20 balers, EMAK now creates mill-size bales that can be sent directly to the nearest recycling facility.
With new balers closer to the waste source, EMAK employees no longer waste effort or risk injury managing high volumes of waste.
Cardboard, paper, and plastic waste that accumulates in EMAK's facilities are now sorted and compacted in the nearby B50 XL SD and B20 balers. High-density bales can then be stored outside and sold at competitive market prices.
Remarkably, EMAK achieves cost savings of around €15,000 per year with their optimized internal logistics. EMAK has not only reduced transport costs, but also generated profit from their optimized waste management.
