Baler with high safety level for University campus

05 December 2019

A digital lockpad prevents unauthorized use of Bramidan baler installed at the University of Texas in their downtown campus.

Safety has high priority at universities and other higher-education institutions. Therefore, the University of Texas at San Antonio was very careful and observant when looking for a baler for their waste compaction. When the installation of the X40 Wide low profile baler should take place at their downtown San Antonio campus, they chose a digital lockpad add-on for extra security.

Lockpad prevents unauthourized use of baler

The Bramidan team was able to install the lockpad on site and also provide training for the coming users of the baler. The lockpad requires users to enter a security code in order to operate the baler. This allows the university staff to dispose of their waste, but prevents unauthorized users from activating the motor and running a cycle.
